- Assist with preparation for meetings with current and prospective partners.
- Assist with preparation of presentation materials for meetings.
- Assist in sponsorship assets.
- Assist with preparation of post-event recaps.
- Continuously research activity occurring in the sponsorship world, primarily in the sports arena.
- May provide support to Marketing Activations team for local events.

We are seeking candidates that are:


- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Proficiency conducting internet research. Ability to organize and effectively present analysis and information.

Proficient in all platforms of Social media including but not limited too

Game Day Operations Internship - Los Angeles KISS Football (Anaheim, Ca)

Description: Intern will work directly with the Director of Game Operations, while also providing support with the creative, and communications aspects of the marketing and operations department. This internship will be unpaid, but is eligible to receive college credit. Internship could require working nights, weekends, and holidays. Intern should also expect to work games and/or other LA KISS non-game events. In-office work will involve managing new projects, research, creating new campaigns, managing various game elements.

Job Duties can include:

  • In-game promotion execution
  • Assist in creation of campaigns and new grassroots opportunities
  • Assembly and preparation of media kits, game program articles, (as needed, surrounding media campaigns throughout the season)
  • Assist with researching and contacting new clients to market talent to assist with talent booking process
  • Assist with Sponsorship relations and execution.

Basic Qualifications

  • Proficiency in software for desktop publishing, and presentations, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat Pro), Microsoft Office (emphasis on PowerPoint). ***These skills are not required but applicants with experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Ability to adapt easily in a fast-paced team environment and balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of both PC and Mac environments
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of file formats and specifications in preparation for printing versus web
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Proactive listening skills and ability to ask thoughtful questions for clarity and discovery

Player Personnel/Football Operations Intern - San Jose SaberCats (San Jose, CA)

DESCRIPTION
If you are looking to begin a career in player personnel or football
operations this is a great opportunity for you. The Three-time ArenaBowl
Champion San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League are now
accepting applications for the position of Player Personnel/Football
Operations intern for the 2015 Football Season. We are looking for
individuals who can commit to 20 hours per week. Duties will include but
not be limited to:

* Assisting in various administrative duties for personnel department
* Learning how to research prospective players.
* Maintain league player rosters and our team prospect board.
* Assist with preparing scouting reports on prospective players and
upcoming opponents.
* Learn how to evaluate and "break down" game film.
* Assists in coordinating team meals for training camp and regular
season practices.
* Assist with planning Sabercats tryout camps.
* Assists with the maintenance of our database of all NFL, CFL, AFL,
UFL and indoor football leagues transactions.

QUALIFICATIONS

* Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program.
* Previous experience playing football is desired.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
* Ability to work as a team or autonomously.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to multitask; excellent organizational and time management
skills.

COMPENSATION
This is an unpaid position, college credit only.

Community Outreach Intern - San Jose SaberCats (San Jose, CA)

 Community Outreach and Football Operations Intern (Must be for college credit)

Responsibilities
- Assist Community Outreach Department in all aspects pertinent to team community involvement
- Assist in the distribution of tickets to community partners prior to all home games.
- Research and contact new community organizations to partner with
- Manage and strengthen existing relationships with local schools and nonprofit organizations
- Accompany players on community appearances to take pictures and act as a representative of the organization
- Assist the Player Personnel Department and the Equipment Department in workouts, team practices, and other football operations when needed.

Required Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Available to work afternoons and some weekends on game days
- Ability to handle multiple assignments in an organized and timely manner
- Working car to be used for community appearances (gas will be reimbursed)
- Desire to work in the sports management industry

Athletic Training Intern - San Jose SaberCats (San Jose, CA)

Description
Primary responsibilities include: observing daily athletic training room operation; learning about prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries; practice and game coverage; and travel as assigned; transcribing accurate injury and treatment records; set up athletic venues with water and/or emergency equipment for practice and competition; transport athletes to and from medical facilities when necessary. Reports to Head Athletic Trainer, Head Coach, and GM.

REQUIREMENTS:
 CPR/AED/First Aid for the First Responder certification required. Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a personal motor vehicle with valid insurance coverage.

Description: Intern will work directly with the Director of Game Operations, while also providing support with the creative, and communications aspects of the marketing and operations department. The start date would be mid-to-late March, with the potential to continue on to the regular season (including postseason). This internship will be unpaid, but is eligible to receive college credit. Internship could require working nights, weekends, and holidays. Intern should also expect to work games and/or other Shock non-game events. In-office work will involve managing new projects, research, creating new campaigns, managing various game elements.

Job Duties can include:

  • In-game promotion execution
  • Assist in execution of grassroots events and other HEAT non-game events
  • Assist in creation of campaigns and new grassroots opportunities
  • Assembly and preparation of media kits (as needed, surrounding media campaigns throughout the season)
  • Assist with researching and contacting new clients to market talent to assist with talent booking process
  • Assist with Sponsorship relations and execution.
