2015 Video Internship - San Jose Sabercats (Sunnyvale, CA)

The San Jose Sabercats are looking for two video interns for the upcoming season.  If you have a strong passion for learning how to edit and work with a professional football team please submit both a cover letter and resume.


This is a non-paid internship for college credit. Hours are flexible and will be agreed to by supervisor (Video Coordinator) and intern.  Hours for this internship are generally from 7:00am through 12:00pm 3-4 days a week and 4:30pm through 12:00am on game days.  Experience in sports not necessary, but is preferred.  Applicants must have their own form of transportation.


- Must be willing to learn DVSport editing system

- Any previous experience as a camera operator is a plus

- Must be organized enough to help maintain a working film library

- Must be available for 15 or more hours a week

- Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds

- Excellent computer skills

- Must be able to work with the team throughout the 2015 season

- Goal oriented, detail oriented, and a self starter

- Positive attitude and willingness to complete all tasks assigned

Job Functions:

- Filming/editing game day and practice film

- Help with set-up and take down of camera equipment on game days

- Rotation of all game day filming positions

- Learn how to cut, intercut, and ODK opponent film

- Other tasks may be assigned throughout the year

Note: This internship will go from February 2015 through August 2015
